KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver Engaging Lessons – Design and execute thought-provoking lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum (UK National Curriculum), ensuring every student achieves their potential.

• Support and Assess Student Progress – Implement innovative teaching techniques and regular assessments to facilitate student learning, offering constructive feedback.

• Create a Positive Learning Environment – Cultivate a classroom atmosphere where students feel secure to explore, take risks, and realize their full potential.

• Collaborate and Share Best Practices – Partner with colleagues throughout the school, contributing to curriculum enhancement and professional development.

• Contribute Beyond the Classroom – Actively engage in BSA’s co-curricular activities, including academic competitions, creative initiatives, and sports.

• Engage with the School Community – Foster strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring that every child feels appreciated and supported.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We seek an exceptional educator who exemplifies our core values of creativity, respect, responsibility, and pride. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Expertise in education, with experience teaching KS2 to 5

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK or British-curriculum school

• A track record of student achievement in international education

• A passion for inquiry-based, student-centered learning

• Familiarity with contemporary pedagogical techniques and assessment methods

• A commitment to holistic education, promoting creativity, confidence, and accountability

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities within an international school context
