About This Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is part of the Admissions and Marketing team and is designed to assist all team members while delivering exceptional service to prospective students, their school counselors, and parents. Responsibilities will include processing admissions, issuing offer letters, updating databases, and handling inquiries via phone and email. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong attention to detail.
- Organizing, scheduling, and presenting information to prospective students (both in-person and online) through school visits, career fairs, and exhibitions.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with a network of targeted schools, developing a communication strategy, monitoring performance, and organizing regular events with key institutions.
- Advising students and parents through various communication channels, providing accurate details about requirements, program specifics, and pathways for progression.
- Proactively following up on inquiries within the system and regularly updating the CRM by adding new leads and tracking follow-up activities.
- Cultivating inquiries and applications to enhance conversion rates.
- Evaluating applications to determine the eligibility of applicants for program enrollment, in accordance with the admissions policy for UFC programs.
- Generating and analyzing reports from the admissions CRM to track ongoing work (volume and timelines). This involves reviewing data from various sources and qualitative information to identify challenges, bringing these to the attention of management, and suggesting process improvements.
- Collaborating with regional and marketing teams from UFC program providers to ensure timely information flow and coordinate necessary recruitment events for the Qatari market.
- Monitoring the UFC website to ensure content updates reflect changes from program providers.
- Reporting any system issues and recommending solutions or enhancements.
- Completing any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Proven experience in student recruitment (both local and international) within a higher education setting.
- A background in a target-driven role, demonstrating success in meeting targets and managing inquiries.
- A solid understanding of university admissions systems and progression processes to UK higher education, knowledge of UCAS processes and the recruitment cycle, or a strong ability to adapt in a regulated sales environment.
- A strong educational background, at least to GCSE level or equivalent, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Awareness of the progression requirements for UK universities.
- Familiarity with KPIs and reporting metrics.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and content management systems.
- A UK educational background.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Position Requirements:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or a qualification in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the education sector as an admissions officer or within an Admissions and Marketing team.
