Job Overview:
As the Head of Business and Enterprise, you will be tasked with the creation, management, and delivery of a stimulating Business and Computing Curriculum that encourages students to cultivate entrepreneurial skills, engage in critical thinking, and gain practical knowledge. This leadership role involves collaborating with faculty to maintain excellent teaching standards while fostering innovation within the department.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in business subjects within a UK curriculum framework
- Demonstrated leadership or management experience in an educational environment is preferred
- Strong grasp of business principles, including enterprise education, economics, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire both students and staff
- Capacity to create innovative lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and engage learners
- Proficient in incorporating technology into teaching practices
