About This Role
Northview International School (NVIS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and student-focused Early Childhood Teacher to become part of our expanding international team in Doha, Qatar.

The Role
The ideal candidate will instruct kindergarten students, providing captivating lessons in accordance with the American early childhood curriculum framework, while encouraging the developmental, social, and emotional growth of young learners.
Key responsibilities consist of:

Designing and delivering engaging, play-based, and developmentally suitable learning experiences
•
Facilitating the growth of early literacy, numeracy, and social competencies
•
Establishing a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, creativity, and exploration
•
Incorporating hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive learning techniques
•
Assessing student development and progress through observation and evaluation
•
Collaborating with peers to enhance curriculum development and teaching practices
•
Participating in the broader school community through extracurricular initiatives and engagement
Qualifications and Experience
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related discipline
•
A recognized teaching certification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
•
Experience instructing KG or Early Years students
•
Familiarity with or training in an American curriculum framework
•
A solid understanding of child development and play-based learning methodologies
•
Effective classroom management and communication abilities
Experience in an international school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
