About This Role

Institut auf dem Rosenberg is seeking outstanding Geography educators with experience in AP and/or A-Level programs, and familiarity with the IB curriculum is a plus, to join our esteemed Social Studies Department.

The ideal candidate will have the capability to teach Geography at the secondary school level, actively engaging and challenging intellectually driven international students. We value intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and a passion for the subject. Additionally, the ability to contribute to other humanities areas would be beneficial.

We are particularly eager to connect with applicants who possess:


A passion for teaching Geography, embracing inquiry-based and interdisciplinary approaches.


A proven history of achieving exceptional academic results, maintaining excellent classroom management, and implementing effective differentiation strategies.


Experience teaching a diverse range of students, adapting lessons to meet the needs of highly motivated international learners.


The ability to incorporate current geographical debates, spatial analysis, and fieldwork into their instruction.


A commitment to continual development of their academic and teaching practices.


Contributions to the development and implementation of the Rosenberg International Curriculum®.


Active participation in the school’s Talent & Enrichment program and the broader academic community.


Capability to lead initiatives independently while effectively collaborating within a high-performing department.

Requirements - ideal candidates will possess:


An appropriate degree along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.


Relevant teaching experience in secondary or international school settings.


The ability to teach across International GCSE, A-Level, IB Diploma, and AP/US High School Diploma programs.


A documented track record of guiding students to achieve outstanding results in external examinations.


A strong dedication to the values, ethos, and ongoing development of Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
