About This Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled English Teacher to become part of our educational team. The ideal applicant will possess experience within an English curriculum framework and a proven track record of motivating students in literature, language, and critical thinking.
• Design, prepare, and deliver compelling English lessons that align with the school's curriculum (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, or other recognized international programs).
• Instruct students in English language, literature, and writing across assigned middle and/or high school grade levels.
• Foster students' reading, writing, speaking, and analytical abilities through diverse instructional techniques.
• Evaluate and track student progress using both formative and summative assessments, offering timely and constructive feedback.
• Participate in the school’s pastoral care system, which may involve taking on the role of a homeroom teacher or academic advisor.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding student advancement and classroom activities.
• Work collaboratively with the English department and interdisciplinary teams on curriculum development, resource sharing, and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, English Education, Literature, or a related discipline.
• A valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state license, or an equivalent international credential).
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual educational environment.
• Familiarity with international English curricula such as IGCSE and A-Level English.
• Strong classroom management abilities and the capability to cultivate an inclusive, engaging learning atmosphere.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and student-focused teaching.
