About This Role

We are on the lookout for an outstanding German Language teacher to become part of the exceptional team at Institut auf dem Rosenberg, a distinguished boarding school. The perfect candidate will be an engaging and innovative educator, adept at teaching German to advanced international students. Familiarity with at least one of the IB, UK, or US educational frameworks is crucial, along with the ability to teach students ranging from primary to high school levels. Proficiency in German is mandatory, and the capability to instruct in additional languages will be seen as a valuable asset.

The successful applicant will be a member of a thriving and expanding Modern Languages Department, which provides German language and literature courses across various examination boards.

We are especially eager to receive applications from candidates who:

• Utilize contemporary teaching methods, effective classroom management, and tailored in-class differentiation.

• Have a proven track record of teaching students across all grade levels.

• Are enthusiastic about developing and implementing the Rosenberg International Curriculum.

• Are keen to actively engage in the extensive Talent & Enrichment programme at Institut auf dem Rosenberg.

• Possess the capacity to lead projects and work autonomously.

• Have experience teaching German at a native level to capable international students.

Requirements - suitable candidates should have:

• A relevant degree accompanied by a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

• At least 2 years of teaching experience.

• A commitment to the continuous growth and excellence of Institut auf dem Rosenberg, alongside a dedication to the school's core values and ethos.
