Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Excellence
- Deliver captivating bilingual (Chinese/English) lessons that ignite curiosity and establish a robust foundation in literacy and cultural understanding.
- Create innovative lesson plans aligned with the curriculum that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
- Offer tailored instruction and academic assistance to meet diverse learning needs, ensuring all students succeed.
- Incorporate self-directed learning strategies to develop globally competitive, enthusiastic learners.

2. Duty of Care & Student Wellbeing
- Place a strong emphasis on students’ mental health and wellbeing, providing timely counseling or referrals as necessary.
- Oversee behavior and homework completion to foster responsibility and holistic development.
- Establish a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels recognized and supported.

3. Classroom & Culture Leadership
- Cultivate a dynamic and respectful learning environment that reflects school policies and values.
- Demonstrate kindness, strength, and inclusiveness in daily interactions with both students and colleagues.
- Actively contribute to a positive school culture through collaboration and mentorship.

4. Home-School Communication
- Ensure timely and transparent communication with parents through meetings, emails, and progress reports.
- Offer regular updates on academic performance, behavior, and accomplishments.

5. Professional Growth & Collaboration
- Engage actively in professional learning communities (PLCs), sharing best practices and innovative strategies.
- Participate in school-wide research initiatives and curriculum enhancement.
- Dedicate oneself to continuous professional development to improve teaching abilities and student outcomes.

6. Beyond the Classroom
- Assist in co-curricular activities (clubs, events, competitions) to enhance student life.
- Organize or support school-sponsored programs (e.g., cultural festivals, STEM fairs).

7. Compliance & Safeguarding
- Rigorously adhere to child protection policies, employee conduct standards, and relevant regulations.

Compensation

$52,440 - $75,430 per year (In additional to the salary, an extra benefit package will be provided)
