Contract type: Full-time for two years, subject to annual renewal.

New Cairo British International School (NCBIS) is seeking to appoint an exceptional full-time Primary Class Teacher.

Who are we?
NCBIS stands as Egypt's premier British international, not-for-profit school and is recognized as an authorized IB World School. Our diverse student body comprises over 700 students aged 3-18, representing more than 60 nationalities, with 60% being expatriates and 40% Egyptians who hold dual nationality. The Primary School?
In the primary sector, we implement the conceptual aims of the English National Curriculum through a tailored program that honors and celebrates the cultural diversity of our school community. The school is fully accredited by CIS and is a member of COBIS and BSME.

The Secondary School?
Students in the secondary school experience the English National Curriculum at Key Stage 3, assessed via the Pearson Progression Scale and GL Assessment (PTM/PTE/PTS). For Key Stage 4, students undertake the Edexcel International GCSE examinations in Year 11. In Key Stage 5, both the International A-Levels and IB Diploma Programme are offered as distinct pathways in Years 12 and 13.

What should I do if I am interested?
Candidates should:
- Be dedicated to 'Bringing out the best in everyone,' encompassing our entire community, particularly colleagues, students, and parents.
- Have a genuine passion for learning, with a background in contemporary best practices.
- Understand the needs of students from multilingual backgrounds.
- Hold UK or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Demonstrate proven experience in teaching at least IBDP and/or A level (or be willing to pursue fully-funded overseas training).
- Exhibit commitment and diligence, maintaining high expectations for themselves and the students in their care.
- Show excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
- Be capable of integrating ICT into their teaching practices.
- Bring humor, energy, adaptability, and a positive attitude to the role.
