About This Role

Whole School Support Coordinator

Summary

At BFIS, we recognize that every student brings a unique combination of strengths, challenges, and needs. The Whole School Support Coordinator is essential in providing strategic guidance to ensure that all students have equitable access to learning opportunities, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth. This role involves the development and implementation of a comprehensive, school-wide Response to Intervention (RTI) model, which ensures that student needs are identified early, consistently monitored, and addressed through evidence-based practices. By integrating learning support, BML (Bilingual and Multilingual Learners), and school counseling, the position prioritizes student well-being and voice in decision-making processes. The Whole School Support Coordinator works closely with the Associate Head of School, Heads of Division, and teaching teams, overseeing the Learning Support, BML, and Counseling departments from Nursery through Grade 12. Key responsibilities include managing school-wide systems, educating staff and parents, and ensuring adherence to IB access and arrangement standards.
