Teacher of Physics

The school caters to the Dukhan township, which boasts over 40 nationalities and approximately 1,100 students. Our newly constructed campus, covering 27 acres, features modern learning facilities, including an 800-seat auditorium, an assembly hall with a capacity for 1,500, three sports halls, advanced science laboratories, music rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and an all-weather pitch.

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Science educator who will:

- Be a reflective practitioner, dedicated to ongoing professional growth.
- Possess experience in planning and delivering effective curricula that enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding.
- Have familiarity with a concept-based curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and address the diverse needs of all learners in the school.
- Create classroom experiences that are both challenging and engaging for every student.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in employing evidence-based teaching strategies that elevate and challenge all learners.
- Be proficient in using both formative and summative assessment methods.
- Provide critical analysis of progress, interventions, and achievements for all students.

We are searching for an inspiring teacher with a minimum of 4 years of experience and a fervor for Science (Physics) who:

- Has a background in teaching Physics up to KS5 / A Level.
- Can teach a second subject within the Science Faculty (at least to i/GCSE level).
- Is well-versed in contemporary pedagogy related to science education, particularly in supporting EAL students and inclusive teaching practices aligned with the Quality First Teaching model.
- Understands how to sequence, resource, adapt, and refine aspects of the Science curriculum to accommodate all learners' needs.
