The position of IB MYP Media Arts, Drama, and STEAM Electives Teacher at TCIS includes the following responsibilities:
- Instructing 6 semester-length MYP Media Arts classes for Grades 6-8 (2 classes per grade level)
- Leading 1 year-long Middle School Drama Elective
- Teaching 1 Middle School STEAM Elective: Media Workshop (focused on MS News)
- Conducting 1 High School STEAM Elective: Media Promotion (dedicated to HS Media)
This position also offers the opportunity to prepare students for participation in the Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) Theatre and collaborate with the Arts Department and other community members to create an annual theatre production, whether it be a play or a musical. Both of these roles include Management Units (stipends) as compensation.
