ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for exceptional Pre-KG Classroom Teachers for an opening at ADNOC School, Ruwais Campus, situated in the Western Region (Al Dhafra) of Abu Dhabi, with a start date in January 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Foster an engaging learning environment conducive to exemplary educational practices.
- Establish clear teaching and learning objectives.
- Design tasks that stimulate student engagement and maintain high interest levels.
- Set challenging and appropriate expectations for all students.
- Develop clear targets that build on prior achievements.
- Identify students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those who are exceptionally talented, ensuring their needs are met through tailored approaches.
- Provide structured lesson plans that keep lessons dynamic, motivating, and challenging.
- Utilize assessment effectively to enhance the learning process.
- Leverage performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction.
- Uphold discipline in line with the school's ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’, promoting punctuality, good behavior, and high standards in work and homework.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to:
i. Align teaching approaches with content, structure information, present key ideas, and use appropriate vocabulary.
ii. Engage in effective questioning, listen attentively to students, and address errors and misconceptions.
iii. Select suitable resources and promote study skills using the library, I.C.T., and other educational technologies.
- Evaluate the achievement of learning objectives and utilize findings to refine specific teaching strategies.
- Grade student work bi-weekly and establish targets for improvement.
- Employ performance data in lesson planning to ensure educational practices continue to 'add value.'
- Systematically assess and document student progress, maintaining records to monitor understanding, strengths, areas for enhancement, and inform instructional planning.
- Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies and school policies.
- Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents.
- Contribute to subject development through the creation, review, and updating of curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Stay current in subject knowledge through continuous professional development and professional reading.
- Participate in relevant professional development workshops.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or Vice Principal.
- Inspire students through lessons that promote their success and help achieve the best possible outcomes.

Requirements:
- Dedicated and compassionate educators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, along with a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in a relevant area.
- Familiarity with the American curriculum.
- Commitment to a comprehensive enrichment program.
- Recent and active participation in extracurricular activities.
- Respect for all members of the school community.
- Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language.
- A positive and solution-oriented approach to professional life.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
