About King’s College Riyadh:
King’s College Riyadh is the first UK private school brand to establish a branch in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with King’s College UK, which has been educating students for over 140 years.
Since its launch in 2021, King’s has rapidly expanded and will progress to Year 7 in August 2025, with plans to eventually offer education up to Year 13 (age 18), allowing students to complete their entire King’s education in Riyadh. King’s is unique among international schools in the city, operating fully co-educationally from Pre-School through Year 7.

Role Overview:
The Humanities Teacher will be tasked with providing high-quality instruction across Humanities subjects, ensuring remarkable progress for all students. You will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and cultivate a love for learning while actively contributing to the academic, pastoral, and overall life of the school.
This role requires a teacher committed to supporting students academically, socially, and personally, ensuring that each child reaches their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning
•
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that adhere to the school's curriculum, policies, and high expectations.
•
Facilitate excellent progress for all students through effective differentiation, assessment, and constructive feedback.
•
Maintain strong behavior management in line with school policies.
•
Utilize data to inform planning, target-setting, and progress reporting.
•
Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the academic monitoring of students.

Pastoral & Co-Curricular
•

Supervise and support students during break and lunch periods.

The ideal candidate will possess:
•
A Bachelor’s Degree / PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification / Qualified Teacher Status.
•
A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience (Essential).
•
Experience in teaching the UK National Curriculum (Essential).
•
A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities (Essential).
•
Strong classroom management and pastoral skills (Essential).
•
Experience working with EAL learners (Desirable).
•
An understanding of expectations in UK independent and international schools (Desirable).
