Position Overview:

• As an Individual Needs / Learning Support Teacher in one of our primary schools, your primary responsibility will be to deliver specialized instruction, skills training, and tailored support to students with various learning needs and abilities.
• This position includes assessing students, crafting and executing personalized education plans, facilitating small group learning sessions, and working together with classroom teachers to promote an inclusive learning environment.
• Your focus will be on supporting students’ growth and development both inside and outside the classroom.

General Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or any subject along with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)
• Familiarity with the PYP and the foundational elements of the curriculum frameworks is considered beneficial
• Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience from a recognized educational institution are welcome to apply

IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is essential for teaching at an ESF school.
