ADNOC Schools is on the lookout for exceptional Elementary Classroom Teachers to join our team starting in August 2025. This vacancy is located at ADNOC School, Ghayathi in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Foster a learning environment that promotes exceptional educational practices
• Establish clear teaching and learning objectives
• Design tasks that engage students and spark high levels of interest
• Set high expectations and appropriate challenges for all students
• Develop clear targets that build on previous achievements
• Identify students with special educational needs or those who are exceptionally able, ensuring their requirements are met through tailored differentiation
• Structure lessons to maintain momentum, motivation, and challenge
• Utilize assessment for learning effectively
• Leverage performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and deliver differentiated instruction
• Uphold discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’, promoting punctuality, positive behavior, work standards, and homework completion
• Employ varied teaching strategies to:
i. Align the approach to content, organize information, highlight key ideas, and utilize appropriate vocabulary
ii. Implement effective questioning techniques, actively listen to students, and address errors and misconceptions
iii. Select suitable learning resources and develop study skills through the library, ICT, and other educational technologies
• Evaluate the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved and use this information to enhance specific teaching aspects
• Grade students' work at least biweekly and set progress targets
• Use performance data to guide planning, ensuring that learning and teaching continue to add value
• Systematically assess and document students' progress, maintaining records to check understanding, monitor strengths and areas for growth, inform planning, and recognize students' achievement levels
• Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies, departmental and school protocols
• Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents
• Engage in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Keep subject knowledge current through continuous professional development and professional reading
• Participate in relevant professional development workshops
• Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal or Vice Principal when necessary.
You must be a fully qualified teacher with:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, along with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant field.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the whole child
• Recent and consistent engagement in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community
• Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
• A positive, solution-oriented approach to professional life
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
