Salary: NJC 20 - 24 £32,597 - £35,412 (FTE) £28,631 - £31,104 (Actual) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Contract: Full time, permanent

Lift Kingswood is growing, and to support our continued growth we are seeking a confident, proactive, and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in learning and that classroom expectations are upheld.

You're someone who'll be able to:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across the school in the absence of the teacher.
* Ensure students remain on task and follow the school's behaviour expectations.
* Manage the classroom environment to support positive behaviour and effective learning.
* Provide feedback to the relevant teacher about lesson progress, behaviour, or issues arising.
* Supervise students during non-class time when required (e.g., registration, breaks, exams).
* Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain the safety and wellbeing of all students.
* Assist with administrative tasks or learning support activities when cover is not required.
You're someone who has:
* A minimum of GCSE 4/ C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* An A level (s) (or equivalent) within other subjects.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young people.
* Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining order.
* Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver instructions clearly.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to use initiative.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
