The position of Junior School French Teacher-On-Call will engage as needed to facilitate teaching and learning in the Junior School (Kindergarten - Grade 7). The Junior School is a lively, progressive community emphasizing personal excellence, holistic child development, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:
● Serve as Teacher-on-call for Grade 1 to Grade 7
● Provide coverage for the Grade 1-7 French program
● Leave comprehensive notes for the regular teacher after each assignment
● Assist with the supervision of students during non-instructional periods
● Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff as necessary
● Offer personalized instruction and learning support to individual students as needed
● Participate in co-curricular activities and clubs as required

Requirements/Qualifications:
● B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Native-like fluency and a solid command of the French language
● Experience teaching French as a second language in an elementary setting is an advantage
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
