Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons that motivate and inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and foster teamwork.

• Partner with fellow teachers to design engaging lessons that fulfill the curriculum requirements.

Teaching and Learning:

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum.
• Organize classroom provisions and learning resources, creating displays that foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that accommodate the diverse needs of all students in the class.
• Inspire students through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching approaches.
• Observe and assess students in accordance with school assessment protocols.
• Reflect on classroom provisions, lessons taught, and progress made, adjusting the environment, planning, and curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when necessary.
• Ensure that the Al Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are integrated throughout the curriculum.

Assessment and Data:

• Assume responsibility for the progress of a class.
• Adhere to assessment and recording requirements for students' development using Target Tracker.
• Utilize assessment data to inform future planning, provisioning, and interventions.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding students' progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.

Behavior Management and Duties:

• Adhere to the school's behavior policy.
• Effectively manage classes using strategies that cater to students' needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge them.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, exercising appropriate authority and acting decisively when needed in accordance with the school's behavioral policy.
• Serve as a positive role model, consistently demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.
• Uphold high expectations for behavior, promoting self-control and independence among all learners.
• Execute assigned duties in line with the school's policy.
