Start Date: August 2026
Royal Russell School – Vilnius is on the lookout for an exceptional Teacher of Spanish to become part of our expanding team as we prepare to launch our new Senior School campus in August 2026, where we will welcome our inaugural cohort of GCSE and A Level students.
Candidates should possess the ability to teach across all age groups, from Primary to Senior School, and should be able to instruct (or willing to learn to instruct) IGCSE and A Level as the institution develops.
About the School
Opened in September 2022, Royal Russell School – Vilnius currently serves students up to Year 9. With the opening of our new Senior School campus in August 2026, we will introduce GCSE and A Level programs for the first time.
Starting in 2026, we will provide boarding facilities for up to 30 students from Year 9 onwards.

The Role
The ideal candidate will:
• Possess experience in either a UK or international educational setting
• Deliver dynamic and well-structured Spanish lessons across the entire age spectrum
• Play a key role in developing IGCSE and A Level Spanish courses as the school evolves
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Inspire curiosity, enjoyment, and a drive for academic success
• Be eager to engage in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of how children and adolescents learn and develop
Boarding provision for up to 30 students from Year 9 and above will be available, and staff may have opportunities to participate in the broader life of the boarding community.
Terms and Conditions
Contract: Full-time
Start date: August 2026
Salary: Competitive and aligned with experience, following the Royal Russell salary scale
The school covers initial flight and immigration expenses and provides a local SIM card
Working hours: Full-time, with additional commitments for INSET, Open Days, and school events
