About This Role
The Position
The Subject Teacher will report directly to the Head of Department and will play a key role in advancing the subject across all educational levels within the institution. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills and exhibit enthusiasm, energy, and innovation in their teaching approach, while aligning with the goals and objectives of this bilingual school.

Core duties and responsibilities encompass:

Tutoring and Pastoral Care
•
A degree of high academic quality focusing primarily on the relevant subject
•
A recognized teaching qualification
•
A minimum of two years’ experience in teaching
Requirements:
•
Native-level proficiency in English;
•
At least two years of teaching experience in the subject, with the ability to instruct students aged 11-18;
•
Strong communication skills in English with students, colleagues, and parents, along with the capacity to facilitate interpretation into Chinese when necessary, fostering positive relationships within the school community;
•
A collaborative working style;
•
Familiarity with diverse teaching resources, including appropriate digital tools to enhance teaching and learning;
•
Awareness of cultural nuances in China and a commitment to maintaining a cross-cultural work approach;
•
A dedication to actively engaging in the school community beyond standard academic hours, including participation in academic enrichment and co-curricular initiatives;
•
Experience with A-Level or IGCSE students is an advantage.
