Role Description:
The Deputy Head of Primary is tasked with leading and managing the School's operations, ensuring the highest levels of educational and pastoral care. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Deputy Head will play a vital role in the continuous development of the School.
Main Duties:
- Provide strategic leadership and resource management
- Encourage and engage in ongoing professional development
- Establish and convey high standards for teaching, learning, and assessment across the School
- Exhibit a commitment to working in a progressive international school
- Demonstrate creativity, determination, enthusiasm, and resilience
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in school leadership roles, such as Key Stage Leader, Head of Department, or a Teacher with 5-8 years of teaching experience; leadership aspirations will be taken into account
- Educational expertise with a strong record of fostering and maintaining high academic standards
- Capability to lead strategically as a member of the Leadership Team
- A cultural understanding and ethos that inspires staff and students to consistently pursue excellence
- A commitment to leading with emotional intelligence
