Aldar Education is on the lookout for an exceptional **Vice Principal** to join **Yasmina American Academy** in Abu Dhabi, starting in the **Academic Year 25/26** or earlier based on availability.

**Strategic Direction**
- Assist the Principal by taking on assigned responsibilities and stepping in as Principal during their absence.
- Work alongside the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to prioritize teaching, learning, and school development initiatives.
- Evaluate leadership, teaching, and learning standards as a part of the school's self-assessment process.
- Create detailed subject plans with budget considerations that align with the School Development Plan, engaging staff in the implementation.
- Set and oversee short-, medium-, and long-term development plans for resource enhancement in critical areas.
- Collaborate with external organizations to guide school strategies.

**Leading Teaching and Learning**
- Partner with the Principal to elevate teaching standards and student outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback to colleagues to support their professional growth and positively impact student learning.
- Promote staff performance through professional development opportunities and reflective practices.
- Organize staff meetings and invite external speakers as necessary.
- Keep abreast of curriculum advancements and share insights with the team.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of teaching and support staff.

**Leading and Managing Staff**
- Cultivate a professional learning community aimed at achieving high standards.
- Facilitate staff development through continuous professional development, performance management, and goal setting.
- Create a positive school environment grounded in fairness, teamwork, and high expectations.
- Acknowledge team accomplishments and foster effective learning communities with other schools.

**Efficient Resource Deployment**
- Support the Principal in enhancing organizational structures and maintaining a safe, efficient learning environment.
- Oversee subject budgets to ensure alignment with priorities while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Allocate and track resources to improve learning outcomes.

**Accountability**
- Collaborate with the Principal to ensure accountability to parents, ADEK, and Aldar Academies.
- Advocate for a high-quality education, shared responsibility, and a cooperative school culture.
- Provide accurate performance reports to stakeholders and reflect on feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring that teaching strategies and curriculum plans are effective.

**Strengthening Community**
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to promote equity and entitlement.
- Collaborate with other schools and Aldar Academies to share knowledge and expertise.
- Partner with parents and organizations to ensure the well-being of all children.
