About This Role

Maternity cover, from September 2026. Full time.

We are seeking an inspiring, forward‑thinking and committed primary teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis in Year 6. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is driven to make a real difference, has high expectations of pupil achievement and is enthusiastic about delivering engaging, high‑quality learning during this important stage of pupils’ education.

About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

  • An inspiring and reflective classroom practitioner with high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Confident in delivering and assessing the Year 6 curriculum, including preparation for statutory assessments.
  • Committed to creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • A positive team player, able to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
