About This Role

Teacher of Physics

We are seeking a Secondary Physics Teacher to become part of our esteemed Science Department at our Windsor Park campus, commencing in August 2026. This role presents an opportunity for someone eager to engage in a lively, supportive, and innovative educational community.

About Our School

Bromsgrove International School, Thailand, is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school serving over 520 students aged 2 to 18. We follow the English National Curriculum, customized for our international context, from EYFS through IGCSE, A Levels, and BTEC pathways.

As a branch of Bromsgrove School UK, one of Britain’s most prestigious independent schools with a rich heritage spanning over 450 years, we blend this educational tradition with contemporary practices and global viewpoints. Our mission is to cultivate each student into a confident, curious, and compassionate global citizen who appreciates both the learning journey and its results.

We pride ourselves on being recognized by the Education Development Trust (EDT) as Outstanding and as a member of CIS, in addition to being part of FOBISIA. Our facilities comprise two campuses: the Early Years campus (Pre-Nursery to Year 1) and our main Windsor Park campus (Year 2–13), located on the beautiful grounds of Windsor Park Golf Course on the outskirts of Bangkok. The surrounding area offers a relaxed lifestyle with numerous housing options within a 30-minute commute to school, along with a convenient daily staff bus service.

In recent years, Bromsgrove has grown significantly in student enrollment, reputation, and aspirations, establishing itself as the top choice for families in Eastern Bangkok.

We are on the lookout for outstanding educators who are excited to join our dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking educational environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in collaborative settings, exhibit flexibility, maintain a sense of humor, and uphold high standards and professional integrity.

We Offer:

  • A competitive international salary and benefits package that aligns with leading schools in the region.
  • A genuinely collaborative and supportive community where ideas are freely exchanged; we have a team that values cooperation.
  • An opportunity to live and work in a stunning region of Thailand, with a strong focus on both professional development and personal well-being.

Role Profile

We are searching for an educator who genuinely enjoys working collaboratively — someone adaptable, positive, and committed to maintaining high standards and professional pride.

The Science Department consistently achieves remarkable results in external examinations at both IGCSE and A Level. We are looking for a candidate with experience teaching students aged 11-18; leading the physics curriculum at the upper levels of the school will be a vital component of this role. While the ability to teach mathematics as a second subject is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Many of our students are exceptionally gifted in science, pursuing studies at prestigious universities around the globe.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent) and at least two years of teaching experience in a UK or British international school context.
  • Confidence in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigor, and adaptability.
  • A strong ability to leverage technology to enrich the teaching and learning experience rather than merely replace traditional methods.
  • The capacity to inspire students by fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.
  • A reflective approach to practice, open to experimentation and learning, and someone who thoughtfully incorporates meaningful innovations over time instead of chasing every new trend.
  • A true team player who contributes positivity, flexibility, and balance to the school community.

Above all, we seek educators who place a high value on relationships in their work and understand the importance of collaboration.
