Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a passionate, flexible, and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our team in January 2025.

As a bilingual private school catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy delivers the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. Candidates must resonate with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant number of Arabic-speaking students. The successful individual will be an effective communicator, adept at fostering open lines of communication with students, staff, and parents. Leading by example and engaging fully in the Academy's extracurricular activities is essential.

Applicants should be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have at least two years of experience in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.

Candidates must be able to showcase:

• Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK initiatives and developments in English
• Capability and willingness to teach across KS3 and KS4
• Experience in teaching ‘A’ levels is desirable, but not required
• Excellent classroom management skills and extensive subject knowledge
• The ability to encourage creative learning and concentrate on developing 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills
• Proficiency in using IT to enhance and extend student learning experiences
• Experience with data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
• Essential experience in teaching EAL students
