£23,543.52 to £25,094.74 (- 5 years service)

£24,076.00 to £25662.30 (+ 5 years service)

We are seeking to appoint a committed and organised Intervention Mentor to support our whole-school literacy priorities, with a particular focus on EAL students and weak or struggling readers.

The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of small group reading interventions, using structured programmes to improve pupils’ reading fluency, comprehension and confidence. They will be responsible for assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting impact to their line manager.

In addition, the role includes the day-to-day management of the school Learning Centre, creating a purposeful environment that promotes reading and independent study. The postholder will facilitate access to the centre at break, lunchtime and after school.
