About BASIS International School Shenzhen
Established in 2015, BASIS International School Shenzhen was our first school within the network. Initially located in a renovated building, the school transitioned to its beautiful new campus in 2023, which accommodates over 1,600 students from Pre-K through Grade 12 and boasts state-of-the-art facilities for the performing and visual arts, athletics, and sciences, along with stunning outdoor areas and gardens. The campus is conveniently situated, providing easy access to the best that Shenzhen has to offer, including diverse dining options, shopping, and a short ferry or train ride to both Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
Our Primary School educators utilize a collaborative, co-teaching strategy to boost student engagement and learning opportunities. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) leads the delivery of captivating, subject-focused learning experiences, while the Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) ensures that each student comprehends the material. Together, you will foster a joyful and rigorous learning environment that values hard work and where intellectual pursuit yields exceptional student outcomes.

Who We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- Experience: A minimum of two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, which is necessary for obtaining a working visa.
- Collaboration: A team player enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and learning from colleagues around the globe.
