Position: French Teacher - Primary
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our Elementary/Primary School team. The ideal candidate will teach the French language to primary students utilizing an international curriculum.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conducting engaging and effective French lessons for all primary year groups, encouraging a passion for the language and its culture.
- Designing and executing a thorough French curriculum that reflects our school’s vision and values.
- Establishing a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels appreciated and motivated to express themselves in French.
- Collaborating with fellow educators to weave French language learning throughout the curriculum, enriching the overall educational experience.
- Evaluating and monitoring student progress, offering constructive feedback and assistance to help each child thrive in their language abilities.
- Building strong connections with parents and the broader school community to emphasize the significance of language education.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience teaching French at the primary level
- Native French speaker, proficient in both written and spoken English
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles
- Strong classroom management capabilities, maintaining discipline while fostering a positive learning environment
