Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year. We are looking for a motivated early years educator committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence within a supportive, culturally relevant British-curriculum framework. The ideal candidate will establish an engaging and nurturing environment that promotes children’s academic, social, and emotional development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field, along with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or its equivalent.
• At least 2 years of successful teaching experience in an EYFS setting, preferably in a British or international school.
• Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS Framework and early years teaching methodologies.
• Experience in implementing play-based and inquiry-led learning strategies.
• Skilled in observing, assessing, and tracking early years progress.
• Strong classroom management skills suited to early childhood education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Description:
• Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that align with the EYFS Framework.
• Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and independence.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s development through both formative and summative evaluation methods.
• Offer individualized support to meet each child's learning and developmental needs.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and safeguarding standards.
• Build meaningful relationships with parents/guardians to support children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
• Promote positive behavior, social skills, and emotional resilience.
• Participate in weekly CPD sessions and pursue continuous professional development.
• Take part in enrichment activities and school events.
