About This Role
Holy Mary British Catholic School began as a Nursery School in Madrid, founded by Marta and María Riva de Aldama, to provide a British-style education rooted in Catholic values for parents seeking this for their children. Due to increasing demand, the institution evolved into a Primary School and subsequently established a Secondary School in 2013.
Over the next two years, Holy Mary British Catholic School plans to continue its measured growth within the secondary section. Our vision for the future is driven by a commitment to ongoing improvement and the delivery of a creative, inclusive curriculum, supported by a dedicated community of teachers, students, and engaged parents. We are currently in search of a qualified secondary teacher for KS3, IGCSE, and A Level Computer Science, with a start date in January 2025, or sooner if possible.
Qualified candidates should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in GCSE and A Level Computer Science
- British or EU citizenship (support will be provided to obtain necessary visas)
- Qualified Teacher Status
- An approach that aligns with our Catholic ethos
- A strong commitment to safeguarding all students
