Classroom Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our Year 3–4 team. The successful applicant will be part of a highly collaborative and supportive teaching team committed to improving student achievement and strengthening effective teaching practice.

A strong understanding of structured literacy and mathematics is essential, along with the ability to deliver engaging, evidence-based programmes that meet the diverse needs of learners. Strengths or interests in Science, Social Sciences, or Technology would be an advantage.

We are looking for a New Zealand-registered teacher who is a reflective practitioner, committed to ongoing professional growth, values positive relationships, and contributes to a vibrant learning community focused on student success.

Position commences Term 3 2026.

A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school shall be a condition of appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects including English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Māori, and The Arts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Engage in professional development and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• New Zealand registration as a teacher.
• Strong understanding of structured literacy and mathematics.
• Experience or interest in Science, Social Sciences, or Technology.
