About This Role
Assistant Heads play a crucial role in realizing the strategic vision of Victoria College. As part of the Leadership Group, each Assistant Head is assigned a specific area of responsibility within the College, where they are empowered to lead, make significant decisions, and manage policies related to their designated areas.
We are excited to announce an opening on this team starting in September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
This position is perfect for an existing middle or senior leader looking to broaden their influence at a school-wide level, engage in overarching leadership, and advance their professional development.
Responsibilities will be allocated based on the successful candidate's experience and interests. It is important to note that Assistant Heads at Victoria College will occasionally rotate their responsibilities to foster professional growth. The current key areas of focus within the Assistant Head team include:
• Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
• Staffing and Operations
• Supercurriculum
• Sixth Form (Years 12-13)
• Middle School (Years 9-11)
• Lower School (Years 7-8)
