Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is looking to recruit a dynamic and passionate Art Teacher to become part of our secondary education team. This position presents an exciting chance for an enthusiastic educator to teach Art across Key Stages 3–5, motivating students to cultivate their creativity, technical abilities, and confidence in visual arts.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a lively learning atmosphere where artistic inquiry and critical thinking are promoted.
Key Responsibilities
● Instruct Art for KS3–KS5
● Design and implement engaging, well-organized lessons across various artistic disciplines
● Prepare students for GCSE/IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent) Art assessments
● Evaluate, track, and support student development
● Promote creativity, experimentation, and independent thought
● Engage in the broader school community, including exhibitions and enrichment initiatives
Person Specification
● A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field
● PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification
● Experience in teaching Art at the secondary level
● Strong knowledge of various artistic media
● Exceptional classroom management and communication abilities
● A passion for inspiring creativity in young individuals
