Curriculum Overview
Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to incorporate Qatar’s cultural heritage and values. Our educational journey spans from Early Years to Sixth Form, melding academic excellence with robust pastoral support and a focus on personal development.
Throughout all educational stages, the DBS curriculum is crafted to be engaging, comprehensive, and demanding, integrating academic integrity with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.
Ideal candidates should possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or a comparable qualification.
•
A validated teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE must be accompanied by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).
•
Outstanding subject expertise, with significant experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
•
Experience with IGCSE, AS/A Level, and International Baccalaureate (IB) instruction.
•
A solid track record of delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
•
A strong dedication to enhancing the broader school community through extracurricular involvement.

This position is set to begin in September 2026; however, staff are expected to arrive in-country by mid-August for orientation and onboarding.
