We are excited to announce an opening for a passionate and committed Teacher of History to join our exceptional Sixth Form College. In this position, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional teaching in A-Level History, crafting and executing engaging lessons, and guiding students to achieve their utmost potential through effective assessment, monitoring, and tailored support. You will also play a role in curriculum development, maintain precise student records, and actively participate in the broader life of the College, including parents’ evenings, open days, and cross-college initiatives. The ability to teach Politics or Philosophy as an additional subject would be advantageous, enhancing our diverse and enriching curriculum offerings. The college provides A-level courses in Modern History and Early Modern History, and familiarity with both medieval and early modern periods would be beneficial.

We seek a reflective and dedicated educator with strong subject expertise, exceptional communication abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for post-16 education. You should possess experience in raising achievement and supporting learners of various abilities, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to professional development and teamwork.
