Established in 2005, Gulf British Academy is a dynamic British International School recognized with BSO accreditation. Currently, the school serves students from Pre-KG to Year 11 and is set to expand annually into a comprehensive 3-18 school. We are on the lookout for a UK qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to join our team of Specialist Subject Teachers. Candidates must be fluent English-speaking graduates with a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or those completing their final year of teacher training.

What you bring:
You are well-versed in teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Science, particularly Edexcel IGCSE and AS Physics. You are a reflective educator who adapts teaching practices to deliver high-quality lessons, fostering student confidence and promoting independent learning.

Essential qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of your subject area demonstrated through your experience and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Familiarity with IGCSE Edexcel.
- Proven teaching experience in the UK or internationally within a British curriculum-based, BSO-accredited institution.
- A commitment to safeguarding all students and ensuring equality of opportunity for all students and staff.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and/or police check.
- A willingness to contribute significantly to our broader curriculum, including the creation of extracurricular activities.
- High-level IT proficiency, with experience using Google Workspace, Zoom, Gmail, shared drives, and IT tools for recording observations and assessments.

Desirable attributes:
- Certification in Google Workspace for Education.
- Knowledge and experience with student management information systems (iSAMs, SIMS, etc.).
- Familiarity with educational initiatives such as Philosophy for Children and Growth Mindset.
