Established in 2005, Gulf British Academy is a dynamic British International School accredited by BSO. Currently, the school serves students from Pre-KG to Year 11, with plans for expansion to become a comprehensive 3-18 institution in the coming years. We are in search of a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher from the UK to join our team of Specialist Subject Teachers. Candidates should be fluent in English and possess a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or be in their final year of teacher training.

What you bring:
You have a strong command of Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Science, specifically in Edexcel IGCSE and AS Physics. You are a reflective educator capable of adapting your teaching strategies to deliver high-quality lessons that enhance student achievement, foster confidence, and promote independent learning.

Essential qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of your subject, demonstrated through your experience and enthusiasm for teaching English.
- Familiarity with IGCSE Edexcel standards.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in the UK or internationally within a British curriculum-based, BSO-accredited institution.
- Commitment to safeguarding all students and ensuring equality of opportunity for both students and staff.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and/or police background check.
- A willingness to actively contribute to our broader curriculum, including the development of extracurricular activities.
- Advanced IT skills, including experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, Gmail, shared drives, and other IT tools for recording observations and assessments.

Desirable attributes:
- Certification in Google Workspace for Education.
- Experience with student management information systems (iSAMs, SIMS, etc.).
- Familiarity with initiatives such as Philosophy for Children and Growth Mindset.
