Job Overview

Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and qualified Teacher of PE to join our vibrant sports department. Our PE team is expected to participate in co-curricular sports activities, which will be included in the school timetable. While prior experience in coaching or leading netball is preferred, it is not essential. Additionally, the ability to teach academic PE up to GCSE and A Level is a significant asset. Leadership positions may be available for the right candidate.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to teach academic PE (GCSE, A Level, or BTEC Sport)
  • Experience in developing inclusive sports programs
  • Familiarity with contemporary PE teaching methodologies and assessment frameworks
  • Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for physical education
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with coaches, parents, and students
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Capacity to support the school's Elite Player Pathway (EPP) program
