We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Tutor to join our GCSE Plus team at the Joseph Wright Centre. In this role, you will provide essential tutorial and coaching sessions to our GCSE resit students, aiding their development both within the College and beyond.

The Opportunity
As a Personal Tutor, you will be instrumental in ensuring that your assigned students receive the necessary support to thrive in their studies. Your responsibilities will include delivering a tailored tutorial program and facilitating one-on-one sessions. Topics of focus will encompass Prevent, building positive relationships, progression sessions, and study skills. Furthermore, you will encourage student participation in broader tutorial events, seminars, guest speaker sessions, and industry-related activities.

About You
You are a dynamic individual eager to engage with students from various backgrounds. Your deep understanding of tutoring and student monitoring strategies will be crucial in providing enriching learning experiences. You should have experience in a post-16 educational setting, offering pastoral advice and guidance to young people. Your commitment to fostering an exceptional learning environment will inspire students to reach their full potential. A Level 3 Award in Education and Training is required, or you should be willing to pursue this qualification.
