Position Overview
The PE Teacher will develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that promotes athletic skill, physical competence, confidence, teamwork, and overall health through various sports and physical activities. With access to premier sports facilities and industry collaborations, this position focuses on cultivating students’ athletic talents and sportsmanship through structured training and competitive opportunities.

- Competitive & Recreational Sports – Athletics, football, netball, basketball, swimming, fencing, and padel
- Health & Fitness – Strength training, endurance, flexibility, and injury prevention
- Movement & Coordination – Gymnastics and agility training
- Sports Leadership & Strategy – Coaching, teamwork, and game analysis
Candidates with specialized knowledge in any of these areas are encouraged to demonstrate their strengths. The PE Teacher will also engage in inter-school competitions and extracurricular athletic programs while utilizing contemporary training techniques to enhance student performance and involvement.
Person Specifications
- A BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent is required
- A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
- Proven experience teaching PE to KS4/KS5 or equivalent
