Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in visual arts at the middle or high school level.
  • Strong understanding of various art techniques, media, history, and contemporary practices.
  • Experience teaching within the U.S. curriculum framework is preferred.
  • Capability to create innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent classroom management skills focused on creating a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Proficient communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to incorporating technology into art instruction where applicable.
