Job Description

As the Head of Department for Social Sciences, you will lead and manage the Economics teaching team while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge A Level curriculum. You will be responsible for curriculum development, staff mentoring, student assessment, and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Economics teaching team.
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge A Level curriculum.
• Oversee curriculum development and staff mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field (minimum requirement).
• At least 5 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings.
• Proven expertise in teaching Cambridge A Level Economics curriculum.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing or coordinating teams preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop innovative lesson plans that engage diverse learners.
• Competence in using educational technology tools for instruction and assessment.
