Bloom World Academy, situated in the heart of Dubai within a modern campus, is seeking cover teachers to join its register for day-to-day assignments across early years, primary, and secondary education.

Our Story

Bloom World Academy opened its doors in August 2022, catering to children aged three to 18 years. The school has made remarkable strides in redefining educational norms in Dubai, benefiting students, families, and educators alike.

Every facet of learning and teaching at Bloom World Academy has been meticulously planned—considering our methods, motivations, and their effects. This dedication has led to several pioneering initiatives in the UAE, such as being the first school in the UAE to start at 9am, allowing students and families to select their own learning pathways, and introducing a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) that shares performance and progress with students and families multiple times throughout the year.

Above all, BWA prioritizes family life, fostering an environment where parents are encouraged to engage with the school community, work from our café, participate in workshops, and attend our weekly community forum celebrations.

Cover Teachers

Bloom World Academy, located in the centre of Dubai in a state-of-the-art building/campus, is looking for cover teachers to add to its cover register for day-to-day cover for early years, primary and secondary cover.

As an IB educator, you should demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness in your classroom and help promote this ethos throughout the school. Applicants should have experience with or a solid understanding of student-centered, inquiry-based learning. Additionally, candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a history of nurturing professional relationships, and display outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

We seek experienced educators passionate about helping every child thrive and create a classroom atmosphere where all students can excel. You should be adept at teaching students of varying abilities and have a proven history of achieving exceptional student outcomes.

While experience with the IB program is highly desirable, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided. As an educator, you should have knowledge and experience in designing rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences, a solid understanding of assessment practices, and an unwavering passion for encouraging students to reach their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

- Advanced/proficient-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- At least three years of teaching experience in a reputable institution
- A proven track record of outstanding student performance
- Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate is highly preferred (training will be provided)
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Intercultural awareness, well-developed communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and parents
