Readaptation Officer
About This Role
Kativik School Board is seeking a Readaptation Officer to join our team. This position offers an annual salary range of $60,000 to $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with special needs, assisting them in achieving their educational goals. The Readaptation Officer will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a university degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or education. A minimum of three years of experience working with students with special needs is required. Fluency in both English and French is essential, and knowledge of Inuit culture is an asset.
