The Sapotaweyak Education Authority is actively seeking passionate, proficient, and creative educators for the 2026-2027 academic year at Neil Dennis Kematch Memorial School. We welcome applications for teaching roles across all grades, from Nursery to Grade 12, with positions starting on August 31, 2026.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- A Bachelor of Education degree is mandatory
- Candidates must submit a satisfactory child abuse registry check and a criminal record check before commencing employment
Housing: Fully furnished and subsidized teacher units are available for rental.
Further Details: Neil Dennis Kematch Memorial School is located in the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation in Pelican Rapids, Manitoba, Canada. Our school caters to approximately 250 students from Nursery through Grade 12. The Sapotaweyak Cree Nation is beautifully positioned in West-Central Manitoba, around 600 km northwest of Winnipeg, along the southern and southeastern shores of Lake Winnipegosis.
