Secondary ICT Teacher

In the role of Secondary ICT Teacher at our international British curriculum institution, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level ICT/Computer Science when relevant. Your mission will be to engage and inspire students through hands-on, practical lessons that focus on skill development, while fostering strong digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. We are looking for an ICT Teacher who can:

Deliver captivating, well-organized lessons that adhere to British curriculum standards, with the capability to teach ICT/Computer Science at least up to GCSE level (A-Level experience preferred).

Demonstrate strong digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills through innovative, practical, and technology-enhanced teaching methods.

•
Implement various formative and summative assessment techniques to assess, monitor, and support student progress and achievement in ICT.

•
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the production of high-quality, relevant, and current teaching resources.

•
Promote the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students by endorsing the school’s values, routines, and high expectations for learning and behavior.

Establish strong, positive relationships with parents through effective communication regarding student progress, accomplishments, and future steps.

•
Be actively involved in school events, enrichment programs, digital innovation projects, professional development, and broader school activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must:

Be fluent in English.

•
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field along with a PGCE / QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification).

Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, ideally in an international setting.

•
Exhibit strong classroom management abilities and a dedication to student wellbeing.

•
Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
