About This Role

British Campus Algeria is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to become part of our collaborative STEAM Department and instruct students in our state-of-the-art laboratories. We invite qualified Physics educators who are eager to engage with learners in KS3-5. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply and participate in the ECT programme alongside us.

Our facilities include three fully equipped laboratories that have been outfitted within the last two years, featuring excellent interactive technology as well as traditional scientific equipment. The Science department is made up of three full-time Science educators and a lab technician. Our institution provides a range of opportunities for both personal and professional growth through a comprehensive CPD program.

Students in A Level will be engaging with the Pearson Physics (2018) syllabus, with the first examination scheduled for May 2027. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to develop A Level Physics instruction and to enhance the already robust Pearson KS4 courses and qualifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for teaching GCSE and possibly some KS3 Chemistry, adhering to Pearson programs.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
