About This Role
Southpointe Academy is on the lookout for a Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management in Vancouver, BC. This essential leadership position calls for an individual who is approachable, trustworthy, and innovative, possessing the ability to represent a leading independent IB World School while guiding families through one of their most significant decisions. As the designer of the school’s K–12 admissions, recruitment, and enrollment strategy, you will influence how families learn about, engage with, and ultimately become part of the Southpointe community. Reporting to the Head of School and being an integral member of the Leadership Team, you will shape the school’s growth, reputation, and future trajectory while ensuring that each prospective family connects with Southpointe’s mission and values from their very first encounter.

Key Responsibilities
•
Develop a mission-driven enrollment strategy grounded in data, market insights, and IB principles
•
Oversee the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to onboarding, ensuring that every family feels acknowledged and supported
•
Coordinate high-quality admissions events, tours, interviews, assessments, and communications
•
Lead a small, effective team that delivers seamless operations and outstanding service
•
Cultivate relationships with families, feeder schools, relocation partners, and international communities
•
Implement retention strategies, including check-ins for new families, engagement programs, and annual re-enrollment initiatives
•
Ensure brand-consistent messaging through collaboration with academic, marketing, and leadership teams
Qualifications
•
Master’s degree in a relevant area
•
At least 5 years of admissions experience in a preparatory or independent school setting
•
Experience within an IB World School and familiarity with multicultural communities
•
Knowledge of marketing, communications, and admissions databases
