Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) will celebrate its 19th year in operation in August 2026. The original VISS campus opened its doors in September 2007 in Al Taawun with a modest enrollment of fewer than 200 students. Over the past 18 years, VISS has evolved into a thriving network of schools comprising 2 IB World Schools, delivering the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12, along with the IB Diploma Programme, and currently serving over 5,000 students across five campuses.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced teachers to join our vibrant team. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that align with the Australian Curriculum (adapted to our context) and support students in becoming confident, independent learners.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences in line with the curriculum
•
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that prioritizes student wellbeing and safeguarding
•
Track and evaluate student progress while offering constructive feedback
•
Cultivate positive relationships with parents and colleagues
•
Engage in school initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts
Qualifications & Experience
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject area
•
Recognized teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g. VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
•
Experience in teaching within an international or Australian curriculum setting is preferred
•
Regional experience is advantageous but not required
